The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has released the world ranking of April with all senior Iranian ping pong players having climbed in the rankings.
The biggest ranking boost in the men’s section was brought about by Pouria Omrani who moved up from 406th to 387th place while Iranian female athlete Fatemeh Jamalifar experienced a steep rise in the world ranking jumping 24 places from 677th to 653rd place.
Moreover, in the team’s section, Iran women’s national team has moved one place upwards to reach a career-high 45 with 126 points while the men’s national squad maintained their position in the 32th place with a total of 194 points.
